you can hand feed BTA's but id advice against it for carpets. My 2 foot gigantea actually will tug back on the feeding tongs and i usually have to tug back. Also when i tug back a few tentacles break off too.
Its normal with gigantea to have tentacles come off.
Guys the Bill is real and will def have an affect on the coral and fish importation. BY THE WAY ITS GOOOOD!!
But lets back track before we discuss the legislation. The only reason why this legislation is being put forth is because its being sponsored by politicians who are looking out for the...
Mine is just as sticky as a short tentacle one. They are not fish eaters and its not becuase its less sticky. They dont eat fish because where they are generally located there are no fish that would venture into the rock work where they usually make their home.

Mine is about 16inches across and sticky as heck.
Any pics?

If you lived in Australia, If you get sick of your fish, literally you could bring them to ocean and put them back.
They may not host when you see them but the only way to get spots like that is from hosting in a coral.
Thats why there some clowns that are melanistic.
i can assure you its from the frogspawn.
When clownfish host in a coral like frogspawn their slime coat isnt as effective against the sting as it is with anemones. They are getting stung and thier natural reaction is too keep getting stung till their slime coat adjust to the intensity of...
One day i hope to have a surge tank that will replicate low and high tide.
Most large hosting anemones face the same kind of rugged conditions and survive out of water during low tide. I dont think i would lower the water enough to totally expose corals but i would consider dropping the level...
