I really like the Sundial, but it looks like I'll be limiting myself, I mean I really do like it, but the 6X24 gives me alot more light and alot more options. Just wish I could get it for a decent price.
Tank is doing well. Water is still at the same place it was, which is good. Just trying to save money to get those lights. Other than that all the lovestock is up and around as we speak as well. Just wanted to give an update since no one is really posting.
I found the 30" SunDial for an even lesser price, again its 4X24

I just really like that it has the timers with it as well.
Its between the Sundial, and this one...
So I've been watching my two turbo snails all morning. 2 of them are at the trop of the glass and stuck to each other, a smaller one moving slowly around a bigger one in a circular motion. I was wondering, is it possible that they are mating? Also would that Serpent Starfish go to attack any of...
Sundial looks like it'll be the one for me. On MarineDepot.com it has the 30" 4X24 that got really good reviews with people and the soft corals really seemed to benefit from it. It came to 245.04 total on the site so I might go for it, I didnt want to do anything til I get opinions from everyone...
ALSO if I could, I'd really like to go with a 24" system, finding a 30" is just really way to difficult. If at all possible, I'd like to do the 24" if that sundial I like doesnt work.
I dont really know what time it was actually, kinda was a pain in the ass getting there for the 1st time today, but yeah got 2 green emerald crabs and 5 scarlet hermits. Everyone including the starfish are out now.
Also went up to AO today and talked to will, really good guy. But yeah bought 2 emerald crabs and 5 of the scarlet hermits, going to put them in the tank in about 10 min.
I can just take the whole thing lid off my tank and use the legs to mount whatever fixture I get right? I mean I don't want a light to just replace the one on my canopy (the original lights I got with the freshwater kit.) So I'll just roll the dice tomorrow, wont buy anything, and just way my...
My bad haha I just remember there being a BK up by Trop thats why I said that, but anyway just wanted to say that the starfish came out and ate the food I put in there tonight :) Not trying to really rush these lights here, I just want to see some models that they have up there, then I'll talk...
Alright sounds good, sounds like its almost right past Trop? Anyway I need a plan for tomorrow so I don't seem like an idiot when I go in there, what kind of lights sound I be looking at
Well I'll look at some stuff tomorrow, weather permitting of course. And I'll see whats up. I'll join tonght later, word doesn't work on my computer so I'll just sumbit it and my girlfriend's house. Anyway Im excited to become a member of a great place and hopefully I could get some help at AO...
Alright so I should go with the Tek 30" 6x24 light fixture? If the weather holds serve tomorrow I'll be making my way up to AO. Also sign me up, because I would like to be a member :)
So 4x24 would still be alright for the softies? bunch of people were saying 6x24 would be really good. But I'll take your word for it, and the 24" model will definitely fit the tank right?
Well I sometimes can see him between parts of the rock.
What do you think of these lights

Starfish still hasn't made an appearance, I hope whatever home he's making is a good one because I haven't seen him all day. We'll see if he wants to come out and pose for pics tomorrow I guess :(
Also I NEVER EVER use the all in one strips, I dont believe in them. I got just a bunch of solutions and test tubes and just tested the water by adding the solution and waiting a littlw while for each test.
