yes I do have sand it's only 1/2" deep though. I really like the look of the MH are you thinking i should use the 1 MH and then go with t5 to make up the difference?

Well I finally convinced the Mrs to let me put in a little bit bigger tank ;D went from a 30 hex to a 40 rect. much more room to work with imho than the hex. I started Sunday morning and finished sunday night. built a 10 gallon refug, which I will put in place when my overflow box comes in...

Wendy Well I have my 40 gallon up. I have 10 gallons of water in it. and have 2 pumps going to mix the salt up. Tomorrow, i will be transfering everything out of my 30 into the new tank. Built the refug today, and my overflow box will be here Friday. So i will have the refug up and running...
