Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
When I was in Utah, most of the club members had airlines ran to their skimmers through a cracked window.
I know that place! I'm up on Falcon's Court North.
I have an 18g nano that I've been wanting to add a sump/fuge onto. The stand works really well and it's doors swing fully open and gives full access to it's innards. The internal size of the stand is 17.5" x 15" x 26"H.
I was looking at making the sump 17x14.5x15H with a intake chamber, and...
Who would've thought that Turco would have finally gotten that monkey off of his back and won in Detroit? I'm very disappointed that losing Franzen hurt the team's play as much as it has.
Pens/Wings would be interesting. Holmstrom will get two goals waived off in that series. Pens...
Could have both, how deep is the sandbed? How long has it been up and running? How much stirring happens to the sand?
If you're going to transfer all of your sand I would run the new fuge without the display for a week or two to be on the safe side in case of die off and and a mini-cycle.
Are you having any problems with your other inverts?
Salinity being off would be my first guess. How are you measuring your salinity? Is it a swing arm or a refractometer?
Possibly run some carbon for a couple weeks in the hob, just in case there are toxins in the water.
When I'm not being lazy I'll make this: Adam's Reef Gumbo
Other wise a mix of flake and frozen throughout the week every other day, rotating every other feeding. Green water and cyclopeze one a week each

Seconded for a CPR HOB fuge. You could also put a strawberry basket fuge or two in the display tank behind the rocks if you are looking more for a live food factory than a absorber of nutrients.
So I've had my 18g up and going for a couple weeks now and figured I post some pics.
So far the inhabitants includes CUC, domino damsel, hitchhiking crab that I've only seen once during the cycle. I've swapped out the bulb for a new Phoenix 14k one. I've also seen the first hints of coralline...
Brian,
Any thoughts to making a member map using google maps? Perhaps include local sponsors on the map as well? Make it optional still of course and another perk for paid members?
Oh and I'm willing to do the leg work if you're interested.
Keith
nice choice in color. I tried looking for the fade but the best I could find was the aquarium screensaver software for an example.
I think the loudest part of the sump would be the skimmer if your going to put it behind the display. Otherwise you should hear it any more than the display. Plus...
