Found my first aiptasia in my tank. I do not have kalk or Joes juice. is there any thing else that i can mix up and nuke it with. it is in a rock crevasse that I can not physically get to to take it out.

yes a coral life 65 skimmer mounted on the sump. external overflow to the sump and a return pump back to the tank, sump is home made and has a bubble trap and cheeto with a pc light.

Thank you all, after every noob mistake I think I got it right. I counted 72 different pieces, including frags that I have started, and a ton of small mushrooms not counted. Already thinking of a larger tank!!!

The coral I just found is growing on floating docks, defiantly not a reef or natural setting. Â The docks get pulled every few years to be maintained. Â No regs on corals in NJ that I can find. Â The trops and seahorses can be problematic to keep alive, except for Matt, he has the Touch!

Next Spring we should be doing a few trips at Shark River. I already found a area with colonys of northern Coral but I want to wait till the water warms up again to collect some. I plan on trying a cool water tank for local stuff,

This was collected on Jan 8, water dept 48 ft..off of Long Branch in a naturally rocky area. The piece was accidentally snagged on a hook while fishing for Tog. It was transported in natural seawater and placed into a 12 gal cool water set up. Withen 1 hour the polyps opened and it has survived...
