Francis, just what we talked about earlier, they look like plain old planarians, the egg sacs look like snail eggs though; just nuke the boys with flatworm exit if it gets overrun, but Rich's shrimp and a 6 line will take care of them no prob...
an old post, but here's my input: Cleaner wrasses fare better in a large tank with lots and lots and lots (did I mention lots?)of fish to doctor up and clean. I've tried numerous times to keep them but to no avail. As far as I know, the labroides are very specific obligatory parasite feeders...
ya we met, lol. a few months ago. i came in and got some stuff and you asked if i drove the S2000, it's silver with the red interior. I had just gotten it then. I'll stop by one of these days after work.
Tank weight will vary depending on the density of the rocks you are using due to porosity. Fiji live rocks are usually pretty light, and is the most common. Kaelini is a little denser, and Base rock is even heavier. It's always safe to over calculate so you compensate for floor structures.

they can, but is most likely out of stress in enclosed systems. In the wild, they propagate the natural way with hundreds of other corals at the same time as broadcast spawners
cool. nice report dave.
went out on Sunday, a little chilly around 54. Soaked some clams on the jetty in Longport, near Ocean city. 5 hours, not a single tap on both the surf rod and my jigging rod.
I think I'm gonna wait until mid April to try for some schoolie bass again....
clean out the pumps or the skimming mechanism (injector, impeller or bubble disk), that usually helps on my skimmer. also check for obstructions. i found a broken piece of coral once and that stopped bubble production
That's awesome...thanks Phyl... never knew it could work, just tried it on a ball valve I was saving since it had a shortie pipe stuck in it.
Word of caution to the people heating them on a stove top though- be careful as PVC when toasted/burnt produces harmful and noxious chemicals, so go easy...
isn't the coralife aq pro a double ended bulb? I dunno if the 150's are a different size physically, but I see no reason if they are the same size. Just change out the ballasts, you'll be OK.
Hey Kenny- if price is not that much of an issue, Deltecs rock! Quiet, can be plumbed outside, extremely energy efficient, almost non existent microbubbles, pulls out a ton of skimmate, and well... hold their value........ I think that's it!
I've had Turboflotor, AquaC, a HOB Skilter, and for a...
small clams (smaller than about an inch and a half) benefit from feeding. Since most clams available in the hobby are over 2 1/2 inches, these do well without any kind of strategic and supplemental feeding. If you feed your fish with frozen foods and/or a decent flake, any remnants in the water...
Would a mod please sticky what water parameters are supposed to be in range of-
There are quite a few questions on the board about why is this happening to my coral/fish/invert and the initial responses are usually the same: "What are your parameters?" "Check your parameters"
I think if we all...
