Don't have it yet- a gift in an order but here what it looks like

They seem to be good sand sifters. One of mine stays mostly buried in the sand and moves around that way using it's legs to sift through the sand and direct things to the surface where it can pick them up to 'eat'
My Canary blenny lets me know how good my population of pods is- although it eats both flakes and frozen it picks at rocks all day- not so much lately. All my fish eat flakes and frozen but I like to keep pods in the tank- adding some tonight after lights out
I jus got a couple. I thought that they were smaller than emeralds- not so, they are related to decorator crabs- mine have put sand on their backs so far- they also seem to prefer the sand bed to rock and stay in the open- I barely ever see my emerald- got right to work
I know that they are necessary food for some fish, I find that it's great to have them in the tank when introducing many fish, and even after getting the fish to take to frozen and flakes it's nice to have them as a supplement (also part of the cuc). I noticed that my fish haven't been picking...
I also have a wall of gsp that needs to be trimmed- the plan is to glue the trimmings to plastic sheet so it can be glued to another wall- would like to trade some for a frag or so. I always have some free kenya tree too
