    I am currently running all for reef powder and not having this issue, are you making sure the solution is well mixed? I usually have it mixing for about 30 mins to a magnetic stirrer and then let it sit for about 24 hours before using.

    If you're really worried, i would turn off the lights as well. your corals and fish will be fine for a day or 2 without light

    get a fan and have it blow air over the surface. should help lower it a few degrees. will up evap though so make sure you have enough water to replace your ATO

    I would do option 2 personally, would just make sense since you already have the other fixture if you were not trying to replace all the lights at once.
