I have not seen any sign of this wrasse since placing it in the tank. I know they bury themselves in the sand.
I have a lid so it could not have jumped out easily, plus no signs of it anywhere outside the tank.
How long should I wait or worry its a goner?

I plan on getting the viparspectet light. It comes with a max 24 inch hanging kit. This means the light will be about 18 inches from top of tank. What can I do to lower the light?
I decided to keep my engineer goby. I would like to get a piece of PVC and glue some broken up rock on it for it hide in, I hope anyway. Does anyone have and dry rock local to Lakewood.
