Can cheto survive in a bucket with just sw and light? Reason I ask is since I'm doing lights out I pulled the cheto so it wouldn't just fall apart. Should I just trash it or should I leave it be and see what happens?

These are all taken with my canon t3 rebel and extension tubes. Probably the best $15 I ever spent.

So my problem is that some of my SPS that are up high are REAL light colored. I don't want to break them off as they are doing good outside of the coloring. Should I raise the lights or turn them down? The only other issue is I don't want to starve the corals on the bottom of light.

So I moved one of my acan colonies into a shaded area and they haven't opened since. Do acans need direct light? I was under the impression they would be fine in the shade. Should I move them back into the light or should I give them some time? It's been about 3 days now.

I picked up a rimless 5 gallon and was thinking of doing macroalgae vs corals. My only concern is the light is a 6watt 10 led fixture. Will this be enough or not?
