My tank is crashing :hurt:and there are a lot of PO'd corals:mad::mad:. If you have a QT and want them they're yours.

Just seeing if anyone in SJ perferable within 30 min of williamstown could test my water(not api). I could throw you a couple of buck for your time. Let me know.

My pH has been around 7.8 for a little while now and I'm struggling to raise it. I've tried the baking soda in the past but I raised it way to fast and way to high. What would be a good way to slowly raise it? I want to be in the 8.2 range.
Thanks
Josh
Anyone feel this last night. I was the next town over but I was sleeping so I didn't feel a thing.

Does anyone use this and if so how do you like it? I just picked up a small bottle and figured I'd give it a try and rotate it with the reef roids.

Well I tried to talk my wife into letting me cycle a whole new tank and got shut down.(had to fight for the FOWLR in my daughters room) So I figured I was bored this past weekend so why not. Well let me start by saying I should have planned this out a little better. First I got a Lrg tote and...
I plan on setting up my 75 this weekend but I have a couple of concerns. If half the water is new will it cycle? Also if I add new sand will that cause a cycle? What I want to do is transfer everything from my 42 to the 75 in one swoop and just add additional sand and water.
Well I'm fairly certain where they came from but I'm not 100% sure how to get rid of them. I do not want to nuke the tank but still want to treat it. Since I'm setting up a 75 gal I figure I can just QT all the SPS during the switch and give it a week or so before putting them into the 75. I...
Has anyone glued a frag onto the glass and the coral grow there? Or does it work until the weight is to much and it falls down. I'm talking more LPS & SPS. I know softies do this but I'm not sure if it can be accomplished with hard corals.

Just came home and looked at my tank to see that my purple stag is peeling.:nervous: Nothing else looks bad. The only new addition was a neon green palau nepthea, and what I believe is a digi.

I'm not sure what justifies dosing. I'm slowly getting into SPS and I'm not sure at how heavily stocked I can get away with until weekly water changes just isn't enough.
My nano is coming along, but I can't get the nitrates down. Everything else seems fine. Long story short its my daughters tank so its fed everyday. The only things in there is 1 damsel, 1 emerald crab, 1 halloween crab, and 3 snails. Corals is just paly's and zoa but they aren't looking so hot...
I picked this up from a LFS for super cheap yesterday. Did I score like I think I scored or not? I'm not sure of the names and this is a cell phone pic but its 2 different types on it. Will post better pics later.
What type of glass is used to make the sections of the sump? Is it just regular window panes or is it precut tempered glass? I tried to build one once upon a time with plexiglass and the sections bowed and eventually failed. Anyhelp would be appriciated.
