Is the standard to still use egg crate on the bottom of the tank and place the rocks on that before adding the sand? I've seen many tank builds recently that don't seem to both with it anymore........

Since this will be going into my living room, I was hoping to keep everything combined to the stand. The RFS 22 sump seems like I may be able to sit a smaller reservoir on top of it since most of the chambers are closed up and flat......maybe.

Anyone here have the IM 50 EXT Lagoon? Wondering what you all have done for a water top off reservoir. With the sump, there is no room in the stand, but I really don't want a reservoir next to the stand......
