I bought 4 about a month ago, one was a bit larger than the others. it has quadrupled in size, where the others are still small ( smaller than a dime ) is it possible that the large one isn't an emerald- it's not eating any corals, but moves large rocks to get to it's algae
After a few days of noting the exact time, I sat myself in front of the tank today with camera in hand to capture the wrasse taking a dive at 6:50pm- before it did it right in front of me- right on schedule today, but behind a rock- all I got to see was the sand blown away lol
I had to adjust my feeding time because my Melanurus Wrasse was asleep for the night before feeding time. Now I've been able to watch it take a dive into the sand bed for a few days at almost exactly the same time every day- kind of cool- not sure if it's the same in the morning it's up up...
I 'have spirorbid worms a plenty and have had small feather dusters as hitchhikers on rock before and they eventually disappeared. I just found one in my DT with a half inch tube- nothing too exciting as far as color, but nice to see. I see them offered for sale online- some with nice colors...
I'm trying to shut down my 40g, the rock is filled with amphipods and has good coralline on it- and would like to move it to the 75g. but the 40 has aiptasia. I've been using lemon juice with a syringe to kill them, but it seems like for every one I kill a couple of new ones pop up. I'm starting...
