Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I hear you, get out while you can. This state has a lot to offer, but it isn't paradise. Like I said before, think 'young'- a place that has a lot of people your age, with good music, entertainment, culture, nightlife and where you can make a decent living. Depending on your talent and skill...
I just paid over $5 for heating oil- in January it was just over $2. my soul for eternity, my tanks, fish and corals are all for sale- my wife too- albeit she's a liability- think I'll just get a goldfish to put in the bowl I got years ago at the fair
Tell that to my daughter, she has liven in NoLA for 20 years, visits Austin regularly. Can't comment on Nashville, just read that it's the place to be for music/ musicians. BTW, I've been to NoLa several times- love it! Never felt threatened. Your points can be made about just about any city
Has anyone been there? A while ago a fellow reefer recommended it, but I was told it closed. I recently heard that it has re opened. Is it mostly corals? Frags? sps lps, softies. Any fish, I had heard that his prices were good, and I'm reefing on a tight budget
For someone my age, NJ is tough- high taxes, WINTER and all that goes with it, so I would love to sell and move south where the weather is warm 12 months of the year, but for someone who is 1/3 my age and single, Fl would not be my first, second or 10th choice, a college town, a town with music...
I could QT it , have a tank, but it won't work with my other fish- if any of my local north jersey buddies are interested take it and I'll keep it for you until it's good to go-
I'm so sorry for you, I started all this- prices were too good to be true and they were- he screwed me twice- first order there were missing items and he sent some wrong stuff- promised to make good on the second order- replace the missing items, give me free stuff a $50 credit and 40% off- I...
I had a yellow coris wrasse that would spend 10 hrs a day in the sand- went to 'bed' at the same time every day, have a flasher now that either doesn't sleep in the sand or does it after lights out
Found a home for all I think- the dottyback was the most important part of the deal, I'm shutting down a tank, some fish are easier to rehome- dotties aren't easy- so I added incentive- if it doesn't work out, are you interested
I don't think it matters much - sand vs bare bottom as long as you have enough bio filtration- I just don't care for a bare bottom unless it's on a woman:)
