    i run 2 di resins and get about 6 months out of them. I run between 100 and 90 psi and make about 50 gallons a week. My in coming water is only 150 tds.

    When I had a hang on the back overflow. I mounted a float switch on the rim of the tank that would shut my return pump off if the water level got to close to the top of the tank.

    I would send out a ICP-analysis test before you decide to break it down. You might have something rusting in there or something like that.
