Hey Mark, Don't know what to say. I've ordered from RC twice- my only issue was with peppermint shrimp- shrimp need something to hang on to- mine were doa- got a refund- my recent order ( last week) came on time ( wish there was tracking ) but was advised that it was to be delivered that day by...
There's so much, wrong fish, wrong lights, going cheap on important stuff. I'll start with my first tank- a 13 gal AiO- after spending months waiting and researching about corals/fish I let a guy at the LFS -( someplace in Pinebrook) talk me into a neon dottyback and a Springer damsel as great...
No offense to anyone, my 'problem' goes back to my first tank- an aio 13g. everything I read said start out with zoas- so I bought some- the lights I had were either white or blue- so I immediately hated zoas- I've learned a bit and have upgraded lights and added a couple of tanks, I just still...
Yes, I like viewing with more blues- and I keep my lights with mostly blues, my 'problem' is viewing pics on sites- doesn't look the same as what I see when looking at my tank. It's just frustrating
I don't need a filter- I can take great pictures with any amount of blue I want and post it looking like I see it- I'm talking about the pictures I see online- why is every picture I see so saturated with blue- those who post pics either need to turn down the blues or use a filter- just sayin....
I'm sure nobody views their tanks with all blue lights- I only do it for a bit in the morning and just before lights out. Is it the camera or one just wanting to show how great a piece looks under all blue. But most pics I see are saturated with blue light. If I'm going to put something in my...
I love the depth that a 40b has- my 30g is frustrating- I'm working on filling out the scape with corals- I have a vivaspectra 165w ( not really- the black box equivalent ) I have all the usual suspects- some assorted zoas, kenya tree, shrooms ( ricordia )and I've been placing them mostly on...
Tempted but I'll pass- Salwaterfish.com has been sending me a lot of emails lately- I'm ( mostly good) for fish right now- but need more coral if anyone wants to give some away ( wink, hint ) lol
I first thought the Chromis were bullying my Royal Gramma and I thought it was dead- I managed to rescue the Gramma- most of it's tail is gone and it hasn't eaten in a few days- the hawk is in a tank with a full size midas blenny and 2 chromis- open to offers- fish, or frags- healthy appetite
I just bought these- figured the dual outlet with battery backup would be good https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0856PZLGX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
