Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Didin't know you were trying to salvage it. Problem is the saltwater, it corrodes solder.
If the salt water has been sitting inside it for this long, it will eventually kill the remaining circuts.
Best bet if this ever happens in the future is to run the fixture under tap water to flush it out...
Wasn't shutting off. Realize I need a separate check valve for the membrane out. Not a big deal, quick Amazon order, though a note in the description, 'If you're buying this to use with our RODI Buddy, get a frickin check valve', would have been welcome.
Used to take the better part of a day for...
Humble, the packaging is fine, just like the Live Aquaria was. Just odd that there's such a loss (though LA had the trocus prepacked in 25 per bag bundles).
Diana, ACC usually doesn't carry ceriths, or at least they didn't in the past, I always went through Reefcleaners for them.
Installed it in 10 minutes this morning and my RODI production is up tenfold. Whisper quiet.
No idea how I lived without a booster and this one has all the bells and whistles (on/off with low/high pressure, backwash, etc).
If this holds up for a couple weeks, I'm going to buy another for my home...
Trade it in for one of these...

Simple to use and one of the most reliable investments I made in this hobby.
So, as posted, my last order from Live Aquaria, of 150 snails, contained 5 bags of trocus (25 in each bag), all arrived dead and putrid.
LA was great with the customer service, within 24 hours I had a full refund.
Still needing snails, went to the old trsuworthy source, John at Reefcleaners...
I have 3 or 4 1" bulkheads (threaded) if you need em, think one or two has the overflow cage piece as well. If not, if anyone else needs them, let me know.
I just got out of a 3 month battle where I was almost ready to give up the tank due to hair and turf algae.
I was ill for a couple weeks and it overran, seriously overran the tank.
Initially used Vibrant to questionable effect.
About 8 weeks ago I did a 3 day total blackout and on re-opening...
Those little 3 leaf things near the directions are fleur-de-lis, a French style of metalwork.
You ought to get it appraised, maybe its off an old French ship (they did lend us a lot during the Revolution).
I have 3 hydra 26HDs over my tank. I can survive with 2 for a while.
Let me know if you need to borrow one for a few weeks/months, I'll pull it from the fixture tomorrow.
The shipping looked OK. Bags were all wrapped and then in a sytro box with some heat packs.
I think the problem was that the snails appeared to be prepackaged in lots of 25 and guessing these prepackaged groups were probably dead before they were even put in the shipping box.
So, as Amado pointed out, there was/is a big sale at Liveaquaria on snails.
I decided to take advantage and renew my cuc in all tanks.
Ordered 125 trocus, 15 cerith, 15 nassarius, 15 margarita
I received 125 dead trocus, 12 dead cerith, 4 dead margarita. For 170 snails ordered 29 arrived alive...
I'm tempted to get back into RD2 with the recent patches, but it never seems to hold my interest for too long.
I'm not against open world gaming, but I get sorta burned out. I stopped the original RD with about 80% complete, Horizon Zero Dawn at 70%, Witcher at 85%.
The only game I've completed...
