I have used a few osmolators over the course of last couple of years. The pump should last at least 3 or 4 years and the replacement is not too expensive. I only replaced one once. So what you have might be a dud. I suggest just get a new one through warranty or pay the $23 or so.

Tank is in excellent condition. It’s like a 55g but slightly taller. Thicker glass too. I used it to store RO water. There is a small hole on the side for float switch. Pick up soon or going to the garbage dump. Tank is in Holmdel.
