To those that mentioned regals. I have read many a thread that suggests that if you want z's&p's don't get a Regal. They will wipe the tank clean. They seem to be fine with other corals.
I have 3 wrasses and love them all. Melenarus, six line, and mystery. The six line can be a bitch sometimes but only with new fish and only for a couple of days. I think they really get a bad rap. None of these wrasses will mess with shrimp as long as they the larger ones. I'm sure a sexy shrimp...
Good luck man. Urgency and pse&g are not synonymous. If you car is relatively close to the apartment you could always get a inverter and extension cord. Heck even a small ups would help for a bit, but I guess that would be for future problems.
I used glass castle in Lawrenceville. I had the glass the day after I ordered. They charged me $15 for each piece sized to a 40b. Downfall was that they were the most expensive by about $4-$6 each piece. But they were the only ones that could have it ready next day.
The paste will kill it but will likely do the same to the Rastas. You could also try to scratch the monti out but that also might damage the Rastas. Chances are the two will find a happy place. Digis are pretty weak in the realm of corals.
I assume it's an encrusting area? The zoas should put up a good fight against a digi. The problem in killing it is that anything that will do the job might just get after the zoas too. That said if you can remove the rock put a little superglue on the monti. That will do the job. Until it grows...
Been tossing it around for a while now. I have everything I need minus the membrane already.
To be fair I did make somewhere in the 55-60gal range yesterday. I usually average around 5gal in just under an hr. So that's pretty darn good.
Water flowing
Still lots to do though. I figure around 3 days to fill. On Thursday I pick up the 65 gal tank I'll use as a refugium and the sand for the DSB is on the way. Still got to mount some stuff though but with the snow day today and my day off Thursday I figure I'll be running by sat...
