    blange3's 180 upgrade

Hey Taz! Just getting old and tired. I'm not keeping the reef up to my standards, but I always need to have a tank! I haven't had any freshwater for quite some time so I'm up for something different. I'll still keep an eye on things here from time to time!

    blange3's 180 upgrade

The salmon spends it's adult life in the sea, but when the end is near it returns to its birthplace of freshwater. After 13 years of reefing so to shall I! Blange3's 180 reef will turn into blange3's 180 gallon tetra paradise after Christmas; four years after it's birth. I'll post the last days...

IMHO waay too many fish. You have 7 good size Tangs/Angels, I would hold that to 4. What kind of water change schedule are you planning.

    Lets talk UG filters

Reverse flow UG was the break through thinking that made UG reefs work. My first reef in 2000 was run that way. I did have live rock as well. The largest coral colony I have today, a hammer of about a hundred heads, came from that reef.

    Beer!

I am a stout and porter drinker who has added IPA's and Belgians to my menu. :D But now for the late breaking news! It's harvest time (even though I have a few more beach days planned) and the pumpkins and Octoberfest's are in. Off to have dinner and try a Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale!

    This one is for Bax

What fun is that Bax? We can just change the thread name like you usually do! But pretending that I am interested in the topic: How do CB's do with big fleshy LPS? My zoas are all but gone. I think my CBB does it when I'm between blackworm deliveries. ::) I would love to add one if I could.
