Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.

You will notice quite a few folks have their location in their signatures. It shows up at the bottom of all their posts.
T5's used on an Ice Cap ballast are good for 8-10 months tops. The IC ballasts over drive them and greatly shorten their lifespan. T5's on a regular T5 ballast are good for 12-18 months.
Re: Jasonanatal's 120 gallon "Natural Simplicity" Reef Aquarium.
Is this the same tank you are taking down in this thread? http://www.njreefers.org/joomla/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=14499.0
Just curious why you would be adding rock to a tank you are getting rid of. The new scape...
I am glad you are learning as you go, that's what the hobby is all about. But whether you add a fish tomorrow or 6 months from doesn't matter. As long as you have that many fish in your tank you are pretty much stocked. The usual stocking density is 1 inch of adult sized fish per 5 gallons...
How many fish do you have now? From the looks of things you are about at your stocking level for that size tank. An angle, 6 line, damsel, 2 clowns and another wrasse from the looks of your previous posts.
Personally I would get your water quality in order before thinking about adding any more...
Try taking the pic with no lights and use the flash. Or just use the white bulbs and turn off the actinics.
Are these in a different tank than your other zoas?
I agree with Bob, not bad for the money but there are better options. I am running both a SCWD and a Sea Swirl and the SS doesn't loose anywhere near the pressure the SCWD does. They also have just come out with a 1 inch version of the SCWD that you can take apart and clean.
You need an excuse to finish a bottle of Jack? LOL If the bottle is open it's a good enough excuse to finish it.
I'm not sure how it would work drilling the bottom of the bottle, it may crack. If you need a hand emptying it, just give me a holler.
That is cyano bacteria. How old is your tank? Cyano is very common in new tanks. You can siphon it out and try to increase the flow in the areas you see it.
If cutting into plastic all you need is a hole saw bit for your drill. You can get them at any hardware store. You can take the bulkhead with you to be sure you get the right size.
