    I think it all has to do with the Apex v3 that was just released. They have most of the older gear with a certain percentage off which is still 100% compatible with the new Apex.

    Yup that's me :) I haven't even setup the trident honestly I got it from a friend but he said it was very accurate. From what I have read when you change reagents make sure you calibrate it to keep it accurate. There is also a site that makes generic reagents that are much cheaper to save money.

    Try using reef flux before calling it quits. 3 weeks with that in your tank and all that hair algae will turn white and wither away. Clean up crew like your tangs should destroy it afterwards. It's worth the 15 dollars before stopping all together.
