You can adjust with the valve, but with my pump even on the lowest setting there was still a humming sound. It wasn't that bad, but the tank is right next to my work desk and i'm very sensitive to humming noises.
Nitrate I try to keep around 10, phosphate about .05.
Alk I personally keep around 7.6 because that's the alk of my salt.
Have a video of tank? How is your flow?
I used to use Kent M magneisum to fight bryopsis.
Raise Magnesium over 1500 with the Kent M and keep it there. That along with spraying hydrogen peroxide on the live rock taken out of tank.
I always do the same thing with all corals. I dip everything that goes into my system.
- Once corals take a quick look at the bag with a light to make sure everything is ok.
- I float the coral bags in my sump while I prepare the dip.
- Get a half gallon bucket. Put in 15 drops of coral rx...
Ah I just checked. Looks like they are out now. I think they only had 5 when I purchased mine. I would send them an email. They're very good with communications. Even called me day after to make sure the copperband was doing well.
I paid I 215$ shipped.
Ah Petland... I remember they had blackworms on the counter their as well.
I decided to start a whiteworm culture instead. Supposed to stay alive in saltwater for a bit longer.
Stopped by. Couldn't stay too long. Was good to meet you Del.
I picked up a nice frag of JF Volt, UC Shortcake, www red ruby micromussa from cherry corals, and a nice 2 polp frag of sopranos, rainbow hornets, and blue hornets from moidol.
Does anyone know where I could possibly get some live blackworms. Years ago, I had them shipped, but I don't think they are in business anymore.
If someone closeby bergen county would be great.
Thank you!
Have a large turbo snail. About the size of a golf ball. Knocking down to many of my frags.
Pencil urchin, i've had this guy since he was the size of a nickel. I think 2019. Cleaned algae very well. Body is about the size of a golf ball. Plus the spikes.
My tank is getting too clean right...
