hey mike, how have you been? it's good to know that i'm not alone in my practices, however if i had more than six tiny fish in a 125g tank and didn't feed so sparingly i might would feel inclined to do more water changes.

i don't know about their leds, but i cheaped out once and bought a t5 fixture from them... and it was junk, i got what i paid for. weird lamp sockets that are poorly attached and not at all supported. the wires pulled out on my 2nd bulb change. lesson learned.

i think the best mix of lights that would be most ideal would be white t5's and blue leds. maybe a couple of other colors thrown in like deep blue and uv. i think t5's do white best, but t5's can't compare to the pop you get from blue leds

prob for the best winning the one you did. i think the other one would be too powerful for most set-ups. especially a smaller one
