At last I checked allquatics also has the brightwells snow as well. And I've seen it at hidden reef, brightwells if I remember correctly. I also wouldn't be surprised is Trop and AO also carry one brand or another.

Ha, I just realized this was bob's tank thread. Thats what I get for not reading. I guess a Yellow and Purple can get along, and the kole to boot. That was where I had my problems, between the Yellow and the Kole.

I've noticed the same thing with RC, but never really paid much mind to it. I have a 20gal tank as a mixing container with a mag 5 to move it. It always has at lease a few gals going. I can't remember the last time it was empty to be honest. And I've seen no ill effects from it at all.

I think you made a good move. The yellow and purple would probably not be a good idea.

Check it first thing in the morning before much light gets to it. In my experience with cyano it usually get bubbles through the day then they are gone be morning then form again. It may just be some traces that are left. Check the sand that they are on if it seems to be like once piece then...

Sounds like things are moving well. The high Nitrates can be lowered buy WC's just do bigger ones. You could always do a 10 or 15 Gal WC a few days apart that should bring them down a good clip. 5 Gal a week apart probably won't touch it. Also do you have a refugium? If so, now would be a good...
