I that location would be hard to see them out. But my experience is that they are worms. I've got a few just like them that have the same exact tube. It just grows as the surrounding monti encrusts it. The vermitids tubes usually stay narrower, IMO.

No, champion doesn't sell them. I got mine from TB aquatics. Allquatics used to have them but they are hit and miss, mostly miss though.

I'll give it a try Dan. Trying to figure it out now. Though I can say mine are running much faster then yours. The problem I've noticed with the RO reactor is that the pellets move much faster in some spots then others. When I figure out how to upload you'll see what I mean.
