I don't think you would have an issue between the yellow and a PB. Colors and shape are far enough off that you should be ok. When your ready add a mirror so the yellow will take his aggression out on himself, and add the PB after lights out. Also you could move some rock around to throw him off...

How long has it been since you last tested? I had a very similar drop a few months ago but just attributed it to growth. I started dosing to keep it around 7dkh. I tested this passed weekend and found it at 5 again. How long has it been since you adjusted you dosing regiment

I think that's my next move too. Maybe this weekend. I was able to move the reactor out of the sump though so I don't need to worry about lighting anymore.
