It's time for a quick update. The tank has been running since 6/17, for 2 and half weeks. I added a pair of clowns in there to test the water.
I decide to get a used T5 lighting from Tommyboynj, 1. because it's cheap 2. it's proven and 3. I will have time to figure out which lighting I really...
You can search for mirror, glass etc in the yellow pages or online for your area. That's how I found mine. My glass was cut very well and you can choose what kind of polished edge you want. For glue, one tube of aquarium silicon should be enough and you can get it from most of LFS.
Looks like I will setup them both. I am adding equipment to the tank. I will build a manifold for the return to have 3 additional outlets. One for GFO/Carbon, One for biopellets and one for maybe UV or anything else.
They do this for free. I asked them whether the glass will be Sharp to the touch and they said no. There are special polish jobs but you won't need it. If you have the glass professionally cut you should ask them how much it cost to drill the holes.

Check out the quiet one 4000. I have been running the said pump for 4 years and no problem at all. It consumes half the electicity as the equivalent mag pumps.

I just got mine from empire mirror in matawan. You can call around glass shops. I got mine 1/4" thick and it costs $15 a piece.

So here's the spec from MarineDepot:

So the SP2000 is the new pump, right?
Looks like MarineDepot is having a 15% of sale for most of the skimmers. My tank is 75g with a 40g sump.
Considering the following:
Bubble Magus NAC7 - $217
AquaMaxx Cone 2 - $389 (is this too big???)
AquaMaxx Ecomaxx EM- $300 (again is this too big for my setup)
What are your...
I bought the aquarium silicon for my sump. It only costs $8. That's all I need to silicon three baffles. If you do get GE 1 make sure you get the Windows one. I have heard horrible stories of people lose their live stock and have to rebuild. Small chance that happening but still. Its just me...
Also keep in mind every elbow will reduce the flow rate. You will most likely have at least 3. You can use the calculator on RC. Also, more flow could mean noisier. And a 100w pump will generate a lot of heat if that's a concern.

Go for the 700. I run only 500gph and that's more enough for a 75g. You can always use powerheads to generate flow.
