Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
One of the major drawback to acrylic is that is can scratch more easily than glass. So something to think about if you want sand. Three sided viewing, I personally like the low iron (starphire) glass as it is just really clear and nice. Have you gotten quotes on building a tank yet? There...
I would not go totally crazy with the minor trace elements. Iodine is important for inverts but just be careful with it because you can overdose it.
I got the Titan test done so it is cool to see the comparison. Thanks for posting.
Each material has its strength and weaknesses. What sort of system are you building out, what are the dimensions, where is it going, what are you planning on putting in it? Once you know what you really want to do with it, it will make the choice easier.

I was told that the large display fish and corals were going to service companies who have the clients for those sort of fish. We would have loved a few of them but they were all spoken for.
We popped in there today and it was actually depressing. We have been customers there as long as I have been in the hobby and they have always been a great store. We grabbed a few of the remaining fish but there is like maybe a pair of clowns left. Dry goods are real spotty, probably not...
