120g Into the Sea -- My First Saltwater Build

As far as a refugium size... it’s more about light and intensity than volume. So your sump size is fine. However. A larger one does add more volume and that’s never bad with reefing.

    Diana’s build

@diana a At least there is a silver lining. Although Jax (Mrs Sponge) is an exception. Just about every other spouse I know. Man or women. Would never use the words “no used tanks in the house”. We truly wish you the very best in your search. Do you plan on going custom. Or just keep...

    Dunken coral no luck

    Help panic mode

The video Diana posted gives you a good idea. But in short. They look like fan worms with a fat curly snail like base. They don’t seem to hurt anything. But they can really explode and become in my opinion. Unsightly. Problem with trying to remove them by hand. Is they are tuff cookies...

    Help panic mode

I had vermetids and purchased 2 dozen bumble bee snails. I was beginning to think the dang vermetids were going to take over the whole tank. I still have a few here and there but the bumble bees did the trick. They are slow and methodical. You barely realize they are making any impact. But low...

I’m not complaining. Like you said. They stand by there product 100 percent. Love the simplicity and look. I feel it may be the first production run blues. As all replacements have been fine.

    Dunken coral no luck

I have struggled with Duncan’s. Perhaps more than any other coral. It’s not that they die. I have had same issue as you. Sometimes they just don’t open. I had one closed for five weeks. I presently have three of them that I move around the tank. Funny thing is they don’t all like the same...

Diana. Don’t know what I have that you may want (just PM me and let me know). I’ll cut, frag or just give you what ever you need. My ac died during storm and I was away. So I’m just getting tanks back online and down to normal temperatures so I just need a few days for things to stabilize and...
