Anyone have any experience with air exchanger in fishroom? Any rec's on manufactures or anything to avoid? Having humidity (60+) and heat (85+)issues. :) Thanks in advance. bconn

Using Panworld 250ps on the same tank you have. I would not go smaller. Also running 4 MP40's for additional flow.

We completed a 30% water change yesterday and added two additional vortec pumps. Will see how everything looks in the morning. :)

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction... 215 gallon tank has been up for 6 months. The last three days the bottom of the tank and most the rock have been covered with string soot type junk. It's all over. We have been on top of cleaning the tank and have been doing approx. 50%...

My bet is Asterina Stars.... >:( When I am working on the tank I just pull them out when I see them. No sure of effective control that won't starve when the star problem is under control.

so when you work out all the bugs on the lighting upgrade mind giving me a hand removing pc's and replacing with all T5's? Not sure how the power requirements would work out.... Good luck on the upgrade/

Before the softner. If your runnng a booster pump you should consider prefilter between well and pump.

Gives most of the dead stuff a chance to float away :) when the first water change is done before adding the sand. Yes, yes, everyone has their own opinion.

Same observation on the chiller heating the room wich in turn heats the tank water. Room temp has gotten as high as 89. Now running a AC unit in fish room to exhaust air outside and keep the balance. On behalf of our checkbook......when does winter start? Oh wait...lol
