You can't use a UV with copper sulfate or ionic copper (Cupramine). However, it is fine with chelated copper like Coppersafe or Copper Power.

^^ This Maracyn or API Erythromycin is what you want to try first. In some rare cases, Minocycline (Maracyn 2) can help with eye infections and can be safely dosed in conjunction with Maracyn for good measure.

It looks like just an eye injury (which will hopefully self-correct). You would only need erythromycin if it starts getting infected (turns cloudy). API Erythromycin or Maracyn contains erythromycin.

IME; Ctenochaetus Tangs do a better job of grazing on rocks than Zebrasoma. The Two Spot Bristletooth Tang is very underrated, and isn't as aggressive as a Kole or Tomini.
