    Acro STN Help

3 things. 1-verify your salinity. I stopped using Refractometers solely last year when I discovered 3 different bottles of calibration fluid reading differently. Tropic Marin glass hydrometer with a 500ml plastic graduated cylinder is most accurate. Never needs calibration. Fauna Marine said...

Panicking about aquarium stands any help? any builders?

The aluminum T-slot stands are awesome but going to be more than $500 for a 200g tank. They would last you a lifetime. I have a few stands from FramingTech and they’re awesome. I know guys make their own aluminum stands cheaper from bulk T-slot material but that’s above my pay grade. Worth...

Can't keep SPS and some LPS alive??

Verify your salinity with a Tropic Marin glass hydrometer, you would be amazed how bad refractometers and digital devices can be, If you want a definitive answer it’s worth sending out an ICP test. Ati oes for $45 would be worthwhile. This also checks your rodi water.

Teach me how to dose (kalkwasser)

Hmm… Something don’t sound right there. Maybe check the potency of the Kalkwasser, ph should be 12 if saturated I believe, and check the calibration of the pump. My system is heavily stocked for 13000ml. Either that or you have Coraline on steroids :p
