Not in the State of New Jersey I believe it is codified. I can't tell you how many items I've caught retailers misprice an item and the manager was called and he/she gave it to me. When online I suppose it is different if they don't have a presence within the state.

I think if they already accepted your cash its a done deal. I'm obviously not a lawyer but under UCC code they as a merchant are not allowed to back out. Good luck with it.
