Vinegar and kosher salt rubbed onto poison ivy will sting like MAD, but it will also dry up the poison ivy in a day or two and stop the itching for a few hours. Best remedy I've ever seen. Good luck at the specialist this week.

Dynos also feed on silicates which is why water changes with Red Sea Pro exacerbates the problem. That salt is loaded with them.

Buffalowing, try upping your magnesium (test it first, but I'm nearly positive you'll find it low).

Looks like dynoflagelletes to me. Any chance you're using Red Sea salt?
