Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Steve, I had a good chuckle!
Had a friend who had a 32 foot boat in the Highlands....so no rental fees. HOWEVER, after about 100 gallons of gas and $30 - $35 in bait, and getting skunked.....and now having to stop off at the Belford Seafood Coop because I had told the wife we'd be eating...
I've been impressed since day one with ACC in how they do business. Always a sale or something going on to bring in customers. And not only that, one of the cleanest and organized LFS's I've seen. My only wish is that they were closer to me. Kudos to ACC....and I'm hoping I'm not...
I have three external pumps. Originally going external for return and skimmer, but things changed. Here's what I have.....all lightly used and only driven on Sunday to church by an old lady:
Gen-X PCX 40 $110
Pan World NH-50PX-X $125
Pan World NH-100PX-X $150
Ditto above two sentiments....but I'm keeping it positive....I'm waiting in anticapation for the day you return. Pete, you are one of the gems!
OK, that's enough positive stuff.......now, if you don't return in a timely fashion, a group of us are coming to your house to beat some sense...
I'm also not clear as to how this thing communicates. I'm under the impression that it's not a stand-alone piece of equipment....you need a computer/iphone/apex/something, to communicate with it.
I do know you need The Cloud. I know I have The Cloud with my Amazon Fire, but I'm in the fog...
But Mike, if they have something at MACNA, the development is still not done. They aren't supplying beta testers until October. So please, let us know what's available at MACNA. My guess is a whole bunch of hype. They still need to sell a bunch on their KickStarter.
Never heard of it!
JK

I apologize if I've already said this....my senility has gotten worse.....Put 2 or 3 #10 nylon washers on the pump shaft on the impeller end. This is what fixed my Atman piece-o-crap pump. With the washers, has been running maybe two years or more. You can find them at HD in the drawers in...
I too have an SWC 160 with a crap Atman pump. I agree with saltkreep....first make sure the volute isn't precipt'ed up with crud. I've had to chip crude out of my volute. Simply soaking in vinegar takes too long.
The second suggestion is the Atman....they tend to stall....and my guess is...
Wow! Did I have a double Doh moment.
We were entertaining at the pool, and I'm not sure if it was a Bruce Jenner effect with me feeling my feminine side, but I attempted to multitask. As most real men know, and certainly their wifes, men can not multitask. But I tried anyway...
I'm sorry Mark, the New Jersey State Council on the Arts has now declared the collage art as seen in the photograph of the plexiglass piece a masterpiece, and now require you to leave those piece as is. Your house has been entered into the State registry for protected art masterpieces...
Your DI resin is shot.
Here's my recommendations:
1. Don't leave you RO/DI ON all the time.
2. Get a dual inline TDS meter that measures TDS before and after DI resin.
3. Pick up a diverter valve to run the first five minutes or so down the drain (until pre-DI TDS is down to 3 or so)...
Looks very clean.
My one suggestion....get a pipe hanger on that drain line that's going left. All that pipe and water weight will put pressure on the bulkhead/glass interface....which could crack the bottom glass.
