    Do you have one of these? I'd like to hear about how it works. I was reading about them on r2r, but decided against it. Many people posted how the batteries were shot after a year or so, even with no power outages for it to run. It seemed like the charger used never conditioned the battery...

    I agree. Powerheads first. Another option to keep the water oxygenated is to use an oxydator. If power was out and couldn’t use my generator (and I was home), I would move my oxydator to the DT....

    I may still. I've been running a KH guardian monitor since last summer (I think), and it's working well and I'm dosing alk and calcium based on the alk #s. This is how I did it even when testing manually. Reefbot will be used for Phosphates and Nitrates. Not sure I care about nitrates, but...

    Love that plate coral. Sorry to read about the finger. My old man was a contractor, he’s missing two finger tips, and had another reattached, it’s a long ordeal to heal. Good luck.
