    If it is a new skimmer dial it back and take cup off and let it run till it calms down it will take a few days then dial back up and put top back on and you are good to go.

    I would used 30 gallons of old water and 35 gallons of new water,put your rock in and set it like you want it, then your sand and water. Cuc would be last with livestock.
