    Zippys tank

Thanks, long time in the making. At least I've had lots f time to mull changes and stick to the kiss method. The tank in the closet is higher than the 40 under the DT so the only glass I had to drill was the corner side of the 29 in closet. Hope to get water in it by the end of Feb. Lol

    Refugium & Deep Sand Bed

I have one below my 55dt. It's easy to remove the sand with little disturbance. I just pull out the shop vac, which sucks out instantly the amount I want with little disturbance. I then replace with new over a weeks time.

Has Anyone considered using our Ocean"s Water???

Jason, I do understand your concept, but do not like your tone or approach. I quite enjoy the various ideas posted and discussed here.Yes I'm sure there are differences.....not unlike us using synthetic salt mix vs natural. In my observations based on coloration and growth, my tropical corals...

bravery test. fess up. i know i'm not the only one.

After thinking about this more, I do not want to give the wrong impression to a beginner. In my opinion, I think it is good to test and observe your corals. However, daily testing will result in you chasing a ghost with regards to parameter corrections. For a new reefer please remember water...
