I've never been, but was always wondering how the show compares to Reefapalooza? I don't partake in raffles, never win anything so why bother. But I am curious about the number of vendors and how much quality do they bring?
Odd, I haven’t lost a single wrasse in QT. Rosy scales, pin tail, Melanarusus (forgive the spelling), and one more fairy is in QT as we speak.
Qt tank is super easy, heater and hang on back is all you should need.
Take a look at it. When folks first started using them in reef, they were all wired into the main controller. A few years later they released a model with replaceable probes, it’s a mic connector you just plug in a replacement probes are like $6.
The only issue I personally had with an inkbird on one of the older ones, reading was far off from real temp, like 20 degrees off, past manual adjustment. And the older ones you can’t change the probe on. I am using it on water change system.
I am using an inkbird connected to apex. Apex is the backup, alarm for low temp, turns off the outlet in high temp. This setup worked well for me over the years.
