I used Flatworm Exit in the past. Worked great with no ill side effects.

I've used ChemiClean and have not done a water change for two weeks after the instructions state with no ill effect.

I personally used all dry/base rock. Did not want to take any chances with pests. No matter how closely you inspect the rock...something always comes in.

Yup! Homeowner's insurance would cover all physical equipment (tank, sump, skimmer, powerheads, pumps, etc.). This is covered under Section C - Personal Property/Contents. It would not cover livestock.

Just due to it being a Tang and they are known carriers of ich, I would wait at least 4 weeks. LLD isn't too bad and I have seen fish in the wild with it. My sailfin tang started showing the disease and I stopped running carbon and it healed.

Absolutely Stunning Sunny! I feel like crying for you! You achieved what many try to achieve. Your tank will be missed! This does start to beg the question though...Why do the silicone seams fail? It seems like they fail more often than not.

Sunny....this is heartbreaking! Your tank was always amazing! I know how difficult it is to spring a leak. It happened to me twice. Keep your head up!

Thanks James...but my tank is still a wreck! Can't beat this cyano! I use red slime remover and it comes back a month or two later....no idea what is going on. Want my big tank back lol.

I agree with you that it is always the same people stepping up. James & I ran Group Buys for years...no one else wanted to help. But I feel that if the "power" is given back to the membership where it belongs, then the members would feel invested and more may or may not step up.
