    does homeowners cover lost tanks

I own an insurance agency....I don't know of any company that will cover livestock. Just like if there was a fire and your dog died, they won't cover the dog. The only thing covered is loss of physical equipment. Not sure who your customer is, but I'm pretty sure they were pulling your leg on...

    does homeowners cover lost tanks

Insurance will only cover the physical tank and equipment as part of your personal property. It will not cover lost fish or coral.

    Bryopsis...will this kill it??

I do know that baking my rock in the sun will cause me to have to cure it all again and cycle the tank again...but I figured the sun would kill everything off. The concensus seems to be that that isn't enough. So how to I go about bleaching the rock? Do I bleach it before or after drying? I...

    Bryopsis...will this kill it??

Darren....you're saying even if it bakes outside, it will grow back? I'm hoping to get the new tank by Tuesday...I don't want to keep all the fish in this small 55 for too long...I can tell they aren't happy.

    Bryopsis...will this kill it??

You don't think a day or two outside in this heat and direct sun will kill it?

    Bottom Seam Leaking!!!!

Thanks everyone....I have all the fish and coral in a spare 55 I have. Anyone have a light and hob skimmer I could use? Or would anyone be interested in fostering my coral? It's definitely not the floor as it's on a cement floor in the basement. If I set back up...I will be looking into a...

    Considering going FOWLR

I love SPS...I really do, but I am truely considering going FOWLR!! I thought I was making some headway with my tank...Phosphate was down to the lowest level ever, water was clear, everyone looked happy...including the Bryopsis...can't kill this stuff. Then today...I look in my tank and my...

    Any Firearms enthusiasts??

Anthony...you still out there? Is it true that it is illegal for me to take my legally purchased and registered hand gun to my mother-in-law's house, which I will be staying at for the weekend, and while there I am going to take her to a local range as she wants to try shooting? But I can take...

    Any Firearms enthusiasts??

There is a lot of grey area and a lot of the gun laws in this state are open to interpretation. The laws in this state really need some updating!!!!

    Any Firearms enthusiasts??

Anthony...that is one of the things people argue about. The law also states exemptions: 1.A member of a rifle or pistol club organized under rules of the National Board for the Promotion of Rifle Practice and which filed its charter with the State Police; 2.A person engaged in hunting or...

I personally wouldn't waste my money on pellets for a FOWLR...pretty point less. Phosban I wouldn't run either...just keep your fuge going...you'll be fine. Carbon I don't ever run....so lol.

    converting to fowlr

Really happy you decided not to sell. Fowlr is super easy compared to reef!!!! Nothing special...some people don't even run skimmers on them

    Any Firearms enthusiasts??

    So what does everyone have?? I have a 1974 Walther PPK/S .380 & a 1973 Glenfield (Marlin) Model 60 .22lr.

    Any Firearms enthusiasts??

I called them about .380 ammo, they want $26.99/box of 50 if you aren't a member. Some of their pricing is terrible, but if you are only the occasional shooter, than not that bad. And for Jim....it really sucks about the M1. Nothing about it should be illegal. Stupid NJ!!
