Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Watch this space over next few days, there's a few vendors I'm working with to get us some great deals on group orders to be delivered to the meet (as well as a few raffle items).
Again, party is at 29 Bradley Ave, Brick 08724.

Everyone (and family) welcome and hoping...
Any reliable brand or model.
Nothing too crazy, its for a mess-about tank.
If you have one with a broken float switch I have a few spares that I can repair it with.

Time to freak the clowns out.
Anyone done this?
I've got about 30 pounds of live rock currently in tank. As I'm using the tank to house zoas, I thought it would be cool to have a zennish tank of flat rocks piled up like steps with shelving for pockets of zoas.
To do this, I would have to cut...
Here's the scoop.
New all in one tank going to be a zoa/paly frag (only) tank.
No sand, no live rock.
Plastic 'eggcrate' on PVC legs.
Biomedia is ceramic, use it in all my tanks, love it - MarinePure Ceramic Biomedia Plate
Some of above ceramic will come from an established tank.
5g of water...
Starting a small frag tank with a 13g Fluval Sea Evo.
Pump is OK (11x turnover), but considering supplement.
Looking for a small used wavemaker, any type as long as it has a random flow control.
Jebao-wise looking for a smaller unit (PP-4, TW-10, etc).
Lemme know.

Tough to pull away to write this post as deals are so good and go so quickly.

Hi all.
Let the maintenance on my tank slide the past month with recovery.
This morning all was OK.
Annnnnnnddd, this evening my shark nosed goby has a cotton wool disease (looks like his skin is falling off) and my wrasse is nowhere to be seen.
Look like I've grown myself a fungus. Drastic...
These guys/gals have been on my radar for a few weeks. I was eventually planning on a pod order to see how things went and offer a review (after the disastrous results with a different vendor).
Then came Memorial Day, and they beat me to it. I received a mail from them.
They wanted to give back...

2 rocks (60+ heads) of orange zoas with yellow skirts

Looking to get a few custom pieces of foam cut for bedding and cushioning for a pop-up trailer.
If anyone is/knows someone or is/can recommend an upholsterer, would appreciate it.
Driving around and saw this kit on the curb, confirmed with owner it was trash, now its in my garage in hope one of you guys/gals might need it.
A, seemingly, 20g long stand (they painted black)...
A 20g long top (glass), a large marineland biowheel filter, and a (probably) 50-75w...
My small Xenia tank has a bubble algae outbreak, but the emerald is actually doing its job.
I have a few zoa frags in there that I'd like to transfer to another tank.
Lets assume for safety that the frags DO have bubble algae.
Will a coral dip or peroxide bath (or both) make them safe for...
As my 6yo was passing a Beta display this fish was 'interested' in him, and, he is obviously red.
Meet 'Red Interested', his first official pet.
A small 1 gallon self cleaning Beta tank (pretty neat) and a plant.
Total damage about $15
Tiernan says to me tonight, "Now we share the same hobby!"...
So,
I had 2 darwin clowns and a small lazy goby in my 10g IM awaiting transfer to a more luxurious home. Possibly to the East side, to a deeeeluxe apartment in the skyyyyiiiiiyyyy.
3 weeks ago, the only change was addition of an emerald crab. I doubt he/she is the concern, but who knows.
Last...
Small shop in Ocean County. I bought my first big tank there (65g reefer).
Can't recall the owners name and neglected to ask today, but a small operation.
A number of USED tanks at great pricing. If looking for a used in Ocean (or nearby) counties, its more than worthwhile to call to see what's...
Was first in line and the owner gave me first refusal.
We were there for an hour contemplating while 6 others showed up anxious to buy.
We bought it.
5 congratulated us, one cursed us.
Great shape, apparently one of the best hard sided pop-up campers made.
Total noob to this.
Anyone with any...
There's a post below titled 'Using Hydrogen Peroxide for cyano removal'.
I do this once in a while (and just did it to 2 frags this week. It works wonders.
2 parts water, 1 Part HP, dip frag for no more than 5 mins, replace in tank.
Softies seem to love it and hair algae gone in a day or two...
So, these guys/gals have changed names.
I've bought pod/amphipod coral packages from them and been very happy with the purchase of the pods. Think was softies and 1 gorgon purchased from them. No survivors with the exception of green zoas.
They should go pod only imho.
I Know a lot of you guys...
