Ahh, well honestly, for the amount of money those tanks cost, I would expect better. Can't comment if that's normal on red sea tanks but on deep blue tanks, I've seen nicer silicone jobs and those tanks are a fraction of the price.
So... decided to stick with a smaller tank for now and sell the 80 tank. I figured since it going to take a awhile for any of my SPS pieces to grow out, it didn't make sense for a larger tank to be running when all the eye candy will be housed in the 34 gallon. I'll decide on a upgrade down the...
yup, controller and pump.
Sunny, these are the wr4s/pp4s. I can confirm since I have a pair of the original wr4s. really not much different in either models but really the magnet style has been modified.
might change my direction with this guys.. stay tuned. :ohnoes:
edited the Title as well since I'll be focusing on the 34 gal frag tank for now till the other tank is setup.
frag tank is doing well by the way, i'll try and grab a photo later when i get home from work.
I've used an HOB AquaC Remora Pro skimmer on a 40b with lots of success. Uses an older direct spray injection method to create micro-bubbles and louder than more modern skimmers but IMO performs better than most of the modern HOB.
