Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I'm hearing that a lot too, haha it really is a tough decision. i'm just worried that 4 bulbs with a canon of an LED like the kessil that it would be too much light. but i've also heard the saying that you can never have too much light. lol
believe it or not, i haven't started a single thing on this build. lol
Someone said to me "You have a lot of patience" .. it's really more like I have very limited time. haha
Also had the pleasure of being scammed by "livingcorals" on MR/RC.. DO NOT TRUST THE GUY/GIRL. glad i paid the paypal...
awesome, hopefully this guy isnt a scammer either. lol
i was looking at the feedback forum at R2R and it seems a lot of people are getting scammed. I wonder if its the same person?
I was approached similarly like a lot of the people that got scammed.
Yeah, i always wonder what happens to the fraud though. is Paypal just out of the money or do they do an investigation? lol
why don't you look into the Gyre for $299? seems like it could handle the 150.
I might be in a similar situation as it seems but for something else. I always pay the fees, just in-case. especially from people i do not know. I did get a tracking number though, but its been 3 days with no activity on it.
PayPal is good with there guarantee so I'm not too worried. It really...
or if you're not looking for anything monetary in return, you can try and donate them to your nearest public aquarium.
i would call ahead to see if they are willing to take it first. lol
Let me know how that goes, i was looking into that fixture but with my surplus of LED fixtures, it's a tough call to add another light fixture to my REEF STUFF collection. lol
I've noticed the trend also with the hybrid fixtures. I myself am planning on retro fitting some T5s with my Kessil. It really does give you best of both worlds.
