Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
You can.
The thought was that at meets and events we're wearing an official 'nametag' so we don't have to try to remember everybody. It puts a name and a forum handle to a face immediately.
UPDATE:
I'm going to take some time Monday to set the type on the shirts. On Wednesday I'll finish setting the last minute orders up and head over to the printer where I'll have a single shirt printed as a proof. If all is OK, I'll put in the order. I need to do this asap as I was told any order...
I've tried the turkey baster and it doesn't work.
I've tried the power head, but the nem just moves, it doesn't release from the rock.
I've heard that the ice cube (in a plastic bag so it doesn't stick to the anem's flesh) on the base works well.
Be sure to turn off your powerheads, would suck...
I'll go first :)

Lol as I was considering if that paint would work well pn a jeep i'm rebuilding. They could brand it as reef and jeep safe.
Ive built a few sumps and have always used Krylon, but thats not ro say other paint isnt safe, its just that at some point someone said Krylon worked and we all fell in...
Karen, hopes for a quick and easy recovery!
Thanks to Nikki and Mike for hosting and ensuring everyone had a good time.
Thoroughly enjoyed and nice catching up with many and meeting a few more.
Got a few pics I'll post tomorrow.
Soz all, few things going on this week.
I spoke to the printer, should be about a week from order placement to completion.
I have to physically bring him the art, which I can do this Wednesday (25th).
I'll post up the order info by Wednesday night.
Proposed schedule:
We can run orders for a week...
STILL NOT AN ORDER.
But, with the board's approval I made a few small modifications to the logo.
Here's the new artwork that will appear on the shirt.
The logo will be large on the back.
The 'name tag' will be over the left breast (have to see if this is possible).
Here's how they'll look on...
I'll handle it all. If I can get the logo I'll rasterize and set it, will take the orders (can collect money via Paypal), and will pick up shirts to drop off local, bring to a meet, or mail for a few extra bucks.
$7 - 10 is actual price for a decent printed Tshirt. If we wanted to go embroidered...
Thought these might be cool for meets.
NJRC logo and web address on the back.
Real name on left breast with NJRC handle underneath (slightly smaller).
Sourced it at $7-$10 per shirt depending on amount ordered.
Can be turned around within a week (at this time).
THIS IS NOT AN ORDER, its a line...
Decided on final dimensions. 6' long, 8" wide, 10" high, approximately 21 gallons. Still going with 1/4" glass.
The big question now is bracing. I'd love to keep the top of the tank open, but I realize I may have to add a cross brace (or a few). Thaough I'm unsure if they would be necessary in...
Going to build a tank from 1/4" glass.
Tank dimensions will be: 5' or 6' long, 8" wide, 12" tall.
I've watched a number of vids but have no first hand experience doing this.
Any experience or advice would be appreciated.
If interested heres details of the why:
We have a island jutting from a...
The two that immediately came to mind. I had one of each of these in my 40b and they did fantastic.
Also, if your tank is stable (1+ years old) and has pods living in it, a spotted mandarin is an unusual and beautiful fish. I loved watching mine gliding around hunting the rocks.
