    Trying to move a tank

If you fill it right back up, emptying out all the water won't be a problem. Just make it fast.

    Neptute Conroler Owners

After my recent experience with a quickly out of calibration PH probe resulting in a 5 gallon bucket of dead SPS, I'd suggest at least once a month. I'd also suggest a using a separate monitor as constant backup check. Both started out with the same readings but they're starting to drift by a...

    In the wall 265 Perfecto

Drilling the tank is not a problem unless the bottom is tempered. For all those holes I'd get at least 3 or 4 hole saws though.

    Basement Fish Room Plans

John - new word for instant, pain free expandability - uniseals or insert-a-tee. But I do plan on a couple more hard piped outlets. Like the idea of the double valves as well thanks. Phyl - got a couple projects to finish up (read: "honey do" list) first. Then the fun begins.

    water test kits

I use to buy strictly Salifret. But due to the recent problems they are having and the fact I got a bad alk test kit, I think I'll be switching to LaMotte. It's a shame because Salifret seemed to be very consistent/accurate(enough for us) and reasonably priced until recently.

    water proofing fishroom

You could use some of that plastic baseboard trim in the fish room along the common wall with the living area. Place a nice thick bead of caulk between the bottom of the trim and the concrete. That should help keep the water from running under the partition so easily. You would also have to...

    Which apoxy

They are all basically the same. None work as expected. It works best when you use the least amount of epoxy necessary to fill the nooks and crannies then use a dab of super glue gel between the frag and epoxy and the epoxy and reef. You can also mix some gel with the epoxy which causes the...
