Ok so Iam going to give reef crystals a shot and see how it goes... next question is how long do you run a powerhead in your mix container before adding to your display tank? I have a maxi jet 900 in a 5 gal bucket do you think this is enough to get a good mix?

What are you using? I am about to start making my own salt water,what is your experiences with different salt mixs good or bad?

If you take your time and do things right you probably have a better chance of a fish disease wipping out you tank before you do corals!!!
