Lets hope POP corals would comment ... Still would want to understand how they died? How long after you put them in two different tanks?

This post seems to be a response to Phil (hawkeye) post that they got it from AO. Hopefully the OP can clarify where he got it from.

I think the OP is confused where he got them from. If I read this correctly he said yes when Hawkeye said it was AO and I gather that POP corals did not have any chevrons at the swap. If the OP got it from pop corals, then I have to apologize in advance as I have no experience with them. Sunny

+1 How did they die? I have had fish from AO for years. What did you do with the purchase? I read you got 2 of them? Did they go in different systems? If so can you give us some details on EACH system? How big? Inhabitants? Parameters? Please enlighten us with some more details. Sunny

It is in a 180G right now and seems pretty happy.

HCL a.k.a hydrochloric acid will lower pH and ALk. However, it can cause other issues. I have personally never used it, but know of someone on RC who did. Best bet is to wait it out and do WC. If you have corals, I can hold them for you. Only SPS corals though. Sorry to hear this, Rob. Good...

Yes very active and colorful. It is in my FOWLR right now. If no one takes it, it stays there. Few emperors make good reef fish. He is one of them.

He is the biggest fish I have in the reef and is now the boss of the tank. I have to take him out so he lets the small citizens play. Had him for 1.5 years. Does not touch any corals in my tank. I speak for SPS corals only. No idea about anything else. Eats everything pellets, flakes, frozen...
