we took the Krave's back tonight and got the blackberry curve. so far the phones are nice.. we ended up having problems with the motorola phones crashing not to mention the browser wasn't the greatest.. so we'll see how the curve holds up..
Three items... A hole saw. A Dremel too which has a compass attachment that is capable of perfect circles http://www.dremel.com/en-US/Pages/default.aspx or a Roto-Zip http://www.rotozip.com/
The dremel has a pin that pushes into the center of the wood you are cutting out so there is little...

And in went 100lbs of sand...

On my overflows.. i have both going to a single 2" line with a ball valve.. Should I seperate the lines and reduce the size? I should be able to pum 1200GPH back to the tank once i get the 1.5" return lines in but at 2" the to sump flow is ridiculous, 2100 GPH at each 1.5" durso pipe and 3300GPH...

I vote for use of a torch.. one size fits all solution.. you could melt the acrylic together, melt the glass together and touch up with silicone. also take care of any pesky hitch hikers and or inlaws at the same time..

Re: new tank starting
Could we keep this to one Thread? The previous thread should be good enough for this question as well. or i take it you decided already on a size?
OK lets start off on a different foot.. How old are you? do you have a part time job? i mean $300 for a complete setup is stretching it even for a tiny tank.
*30 gallon link is the same as 55 gal.. FYI ;)
and uhhh... well the first link is for a Catalytic converter ??? ::)
it depends on the house construction and how the tank will be supported.. 1 gallon of water is 8.34lbs so 55gallons is 549lbs + sand and live rock if thats what you are planning on doing.. your looking at 550 -600lbs easy
I don't know the price on the Bow front but a 55 gallon tank would probably be great for a start since your getting it as a present.. Generally the idea is to go as big as you have space for/can afford.. The tank is the cheapest purchase you will make.. Some corals are going to be more than you...
